production changes / improvements / additions to the current Wayland range,
so some of the

Can I paddle anywhere?
In the UK, you need a license to paddle in most of the waterways,
rivers, lakes, etc.
BCU membership (Canoe England, Canoe Wales, Scotland Canoe Association
and the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland) includes a licence
to paddle on 5000km of Britain's waterways and canals.
Not all inland water is open to canoeists, some are privately owned
or is bounded by land which is private, so do check beforehand.

In other countries, do check with your national kayak organisations
and waterway / off-shore agencies etc.

We also supply replacement hulls / skins for all
makes of folding kayaks / canoes, such as those

where there is no active exclusive distributor based

and we will see what we can do for you.
All the kayaks including replacement skins can be
custom made according to your needs. We even do replacement
skins where you may want to keep the original deck
and we sew on a new hull or vice versa.
There is a high demand for Waylands worldwide
- the factory is busy all year round producing both
Wayland kayaks and replacement skins, most of
which are custom made to order. Depending on the
time of the year and the kayak model / replacement
skin, average delivery is between 4-6 weeks
from order placement to factory dispatch. Do discuss
with us if you have urgent or specific design needs.
Ideally you should not leave it to the last minute,
like
ordering during the peak summer period for summer
because that may be the worst time to try!

This should be of interest to you all. Please consider
signing the petition as an interested individual.
Currently if you'd like to enjoy English and Welsh waterways you're likely
to be accused of trespassing because the bed and banks of rivers and canals
are privately owned, unlike Scotland and the rest of the world. We
need at least 10,000 signatures to make the government respond to this petition

marathon of 125 miles (201km) - the longest non-stop canoe race in the world.
There is a class / trophy for folding kayaks within
the Seniors non-stop race. Or do the race or casual paddle over four days.
